The hydrogen absorption kinetics of toluene with graphene and CNT are given in Table 1 and table 2. When CNT and graphene were added to 1 ml toluene, the hydrogen absorption rate reached 97% in the first 10 minutes of the hydrogenation process at 320 / 320 ℃, and the maximum hydrogen absorption reached 6.3%. At all the absorption / desorption temperatures, the increase of toluene reduced the hydrogenation kinetics, and the hydrogen absorption reached more than 90% in the first 10 minutes. By providing serrated structure, toluene containing CRT provides more surface area for hydrogen penetration in magnesium alloy, which is beneficial to enhance hydrogen kinetics.<br>
